A male cyclist was assaulted and robbed in Timperley on Oct 30 at around midnight.
The incident happened on Thorsby Road in Timperley, the male was riding his bike and two males jumped out at him, he applied the brakes and was then pushed of his bike.
Both offenders attacked him by repeatedly kicking him and punching him whilst he was on the floor.
A couple of witnesses intervened, but the offenders continues to attack the male before robbing his cycle.
The victim was very badly shaken by the ordeal and was taken to hospital with a head injury, although he now has since been discharged.
Enquiries are ongoing and an investigation is underway.
