Ishys is on the run down shopping area on Oak Road, it’s a very popular takeaway and serves some amazing food, but failed badly this time around, the score was given in February this year.

When a business gets a zero rating, it means if they do not take action for whatever the reason was for the low score, they could be forced to shut down until they do.

We have no information to hand about what happened, but in similar cases we know about, it is sometimes is bad, and more often than not, its simple things like record keeping, how clean the front and back is, it could be unclean around the back of the cooking area which is why a score can be so low.

Other takeaways in Partington got these ratings:

  • Partington Fish Bar And Grill scored 5 top marks in December last year
  • Yuit Loung  scored 5 in December 2016
  • Charcoal Grill scored a 3 in February 2016
  • Village Green Chippy scored a 2 in February this year

It’s important to remember a low score does not mean it’s unsafe to eat from the business, all food would be cooked just the way you have always liked it.
