Police have released images as part of an investigation into a shooting in Whalley Range.
Shortly before 5pm on August 6, police received reports of shots fired on Yarburgh Street.
Following an argument with a group of people, a man left and returned with a firearm which he discharged in front of the crowd.
No one was injured in incident and the man fled the scene.
Police have now released images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
Detective Constable Jonathan Barnett of GMP’s City of Manchester borough, said:“We have released these images in the hope that someone recognises these man, or the clothing they’re wearing.
“Enquiries into how this situation unfolded continue, and any help the public can offer in terms of identifying these men will aid our investigation.
“I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, to get in touch with police and share what could be vital information.
