Partington has its own unique problems with crime, in the past it has a bad name due in part by the irresponsible ways of the local housing association.
It was unfair on the area that has just over 8000 residents, crime is much lower in the area than anywhere else, it is anti social behaviour that still blights the area, their is a number of factors why this is.
Having no police station is very unhelpful, the lack of a deterrent is the source of some the problems, and it needs to change.
The figures for January 2018 overall reported crime for the entire village is 78, it is likely crimes are going on that are not reported.
