As Universal Credit bites harder Trafford Foodbank need more donations to meet demand

Trafford Foodbank are a life saver for thousands of people who have got no money due to the roll out of Universal Credit, where people are having to wait up to 5 weeks without any money.

The foodbank are seeing huge demands and need your support to help people including children have something to eat and drink, so cruel this benefit is.

They are short of the following items:

  • Juice
  • Cordial
  • Tinned Veg
  • Tinned tomato
  • Sponge Puddings
  • Rice Pudding
  • Toiletries

You can donate anything you wish and everything you do donate is very much appreciated by all at the foodbank.

You can donate at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, also the Co-op in Sale and Timperley.

Alternatively you can come to Timperley Methodist church any Weds or Friday morning with your donations or any other day you can leave your donations at the front of the church by the cafe.
