Police have released CCTV footage following a robbery at Premier Wines in Northenden.
At around 2.45pm on Saturday 17 March 2018, police were called to reports of a robbery at Premier Wines on Royle Green Road.
Three men entered the shop and demanded cash from the register, before filling the green duvet cover they were carrying with cigarettes and alcohol.
During the robbery, a member of staff was threatened with two bottles of wine and a pair of scissors that had been picked up off the shelf.
The offenders fled in a black 5 Series BMW which had been parked directly outside the shop, driving along Royle Green Road before turning left onto Longley Lane.
The vehicle was then driven at speed towards the Gatley area.
Police have released CCTV footage showing the incident as their enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Chris Clarke from GMP’s City of Manchester borough said: “This staff member was subjected to an awful attack and has understandably been left extremely shaken.
“We have released CCTV footage in the hope that someone who was there, and hasn’t yet got in touch, to call police and share the information you have.
“If you witnessed three men acting suspiciously around this time, or have any detail that could assist our enquiries then please contact police.”
