Actress Margot Kidder who played Lois Lane in the Superman movies has died aged 69.
Margot died yesterday at her home in Montana although it is not known why she passed away.
The actress had suffered with bi-polar disorder.
Her real name was Margaret Ruth Kidder and was born on October 17th 1948 in Canada, growing up she attended many schools including a stay at a boarding school.
She had been married three times and sadly all did not work out for her and was divorced them all.
Margot found fame with Superman however she also appeared in many other films including Halloween 2, and had a long career in television.
Kidder was also an activist leaning towards the Democrats, she supported Jesse Jackson’s bid for the Democratic nomination in 1984.
