Man charged with three counts of possession of a fire arm after a large disturbance in Partington

A man has been charged with 3 counts of possessing a fire arm in connection with a large disturbance in Partington.

Michael Scott aged 27 of Beech Hill Close, Wigan has been charged with three counts of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear and one count of possessing a firearm in a public place.

He appeared at Manchester Magistrates yesterday, July 3rd and has been further remanded to appear at Manchester Magistrates’.

A date for his next appearance has not yet been set.

At around 1.50am on June 30th , police were called to reports of a disturbance at an address on Moss Lane in Partington.

Only a couple of days before police were called to Cross Lane after reports that two males had been seen with guns, although we are not sure if that was connected with the Moss Lane incident.
