Manchester United youth coach Eric Harrison has died aged 81.
The coach helped develop the class of 92, David Beckam, Paul Scholes, Gary and Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt who all went on to play for the first team.
It is said that without Harrison United would have never been as succesful under the greatest manager of all time Sir Alex Ferguson, remembering though it was Ron Atkinson who appointed him so big Ron deserves some credit.
Harrison also helped other players like Mark Hughes and Norman Whiteside to shine.
He was truly an amazing coach one that all fans of Manchester United will never forget.
A spokesperson for Manchester United said: “Everyone at Manchester United sends their deepest condolences to Eric’s family and friends at this sad and difficult time.”
