Driver of a super car runs off after colliding with street furniture in Stretford

A driver ran off after crashing a Audi R8 spyder car into street furniture in Stretford last night (April 18th)

GMP Traffic on Twitter posted pictures and details of the crash that occurred around the Northumberland Road area.

The estimated to be £150,000 car was badly damaged in the collision.

Fortunately no one was hurt in the crash, police have recovered the car and is now under forensic examination.

The expensive super car can go very fast and takes great skill and experience to handle one of them.

On the twitter feed that GMP Stretford was also included in said: “Single vehicle RTC in @GMPStretford this Audi R8 Spyder collided with several items of street furniture after losing control and veering off the road, surprisingly, the driver didn’t stick around Vehicle recovered for forensic exam.”
