A Ryanair Boeing 737-8 (FR 4371) from Seville to Manchester this afternoon was more eventful than normal.
The aircraft was behaving normally until it got to just 550ft from Manchester Airport runway when warning lights came on and the skilled pilots decided to abort the landing.
We contacted Ryanair and they told us the flight crew decided lift the aircraft back in the air for safety reasons, they did a go around and went through the proceedure of finding out what was wrong, the aircraft came back to the airport for a safe landing.
Some passengers must have been a bit concerned as they were just about to land.
Once they did land on the second go all passengers and crew safely left the aircraft.
