Altrincham and Sale West MP Graham Brady has submitted his objections to a mast that could be installed on Stamford Brook Road.
The 20 metre 5G mast is heavily opposed by residents and ward councillors due to the location and worries over health issues.
Sir Graham Brady objections were about location and the way a 20 metre mast would be an ‘eyesore’

Trafford Labour councillors from Broadheath have already submitted their objections to the mast despite this Three mast engineers have already got to work with a square made where the mast is to go and markings where the cabinets are to be placed.
The objections from residents and political people will no doubt mean this mast will be refused however even if it is refused Three will be looking to plant the mast close to where it was supposed to be installed.
A mast that had been approved on Barton Road in Davyhulme has now mysteriously been moved to Storma Gardens without any notice, of course if the mast at Stamford Brook Road is refused then Three would have to apply again.
Networks will work around these issues and will not go away, right now we expect them to be looking for an alternative place for the refused Coppice Avenue mast in Sale, this is how they work so never put your guard down.
Residents on Stamford Brook Road and surrounding area have been an inspiration throughout leading the way to fight as one that shows the rest of Trafford that if you get together and fight for what is right you may well get the result you wanted.
We will keep you all informed of any further developments.
