Police are telling us that an attempted abduction of a 17-year-old girl  on Moss Lane in Altrincham on Aug 7 in the early evening,

She was grabbed but managed to free herself and raised the alarm.

We have no further information at this time on the incident until police update us further.

It has though become a big problem here in Trafford and we hope the people that carry out this crime are caught and justice served upon them.

Make sure your kids are aware of the dangers, always keep with a friend or friends, and do not talk with people from cars unless you know them.
