With a spate of incidents in this park which is known to be one of the best family parks in Trafford and now a green flag park  it was to no surprise that police would be not too far away.

Tonight  Aug 20 at around 8pm police was seen going to the back of the park where the sports centre is, the park was pretty much deserted maybe due to the weather or something more sinister.

We saw several males and around six police officers with them in the car park of the sports centre that was clearly shut.

It is now known that the police caught several males and females smoking cannabis last night and were all warned, the park is a hot spot area and police will be doing lots more visits.
