What a great place Stretford is, and this years christmas celebrations are set to be one of the best ever.
A group called Stretford M32 have managed to secure funding for lights and other things but more funding is needed to enable to entire town to sparkle.
It is often said that people in Stretford often feel like the area is ‘An overlooked drive thru’ that many people use only to get to the Trafford Centre or Manchester United etc.
Local people are very proud of where they live, and the negative comments some people! have no place in Stretford.
In the run up to christmas and all the money spent on the area it is hoped those that ‘fly tip’ or just mess up the place for whatever reason will show some respect.
Of course fly tipping and messing up any area is showing no respect for anyone, and expecting AMEY to come out in an instant is just plain stupid, they take forever.
On Dec 1 a christmas trail starts in the area which involves decorating one christmas tree which should be good fun.
Lets help make Stretford sparkle this christmas.
