A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after he targeted women in the Sale and Timperley areas.
He stopped a women in Timperley asking would she like to go with him somewhere, she refused and escaped.
Later on that same evening the same male stopped another women aged 29 on Harboro Rd at around 11pm in Sale and suggested would she go with him, the woman who was jogging at the time got very scared and managed to raised the alarm.
A short time later he stopped another female aged 17 at the junction of Ashton Lane and Church Lane he asked for the same thing, but again she escaped.
The 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and two public order offences and he remains in custody for questioning.
