Aldi Greater Manchester Half Marathon And The Rain!

Thousands of runners turned up for the start of the Aldi Greater Manchester half marathon, all in great spirits despite the poor conditions.

Here are some pictures from Eastway and on the A56 in Sale.

As you can see the entire stretch of Eastway was a fly tip zone, runners throwing bottles everywhere, this though was cleaned up by the organisers.

GMP got in the action seen here going past the life centre on the A56 in Sale.
