TFGM (Transport For Greater Manchester) have introduced a very special coloured tram to celebrate the Team GB parade which is due to kick off at 4.30pm today Oct 17.
The tram will be number 91 in the fleet of 12o trams, the golden colour is in recognition of the 67 medals won in Rio this year.
Big named athletes are due to appear on the tour which starts at Liverpool Road then on to Deansgate, it will end with celebrations at Albert Square.
Let’s hope the weather stays dry for everyone, on this very special day celebrating the amazing achievements by our stars of track and field.
