Watch Out For Rogue Roofers Who Are Operating In Trafford

Members of the public are being urged to be on their guard after Rogue Roofers have struck in the Trafford area.

The men have targeted older adults and carried out work that was not necessary and was very much against the residents’ wishes.

In both instances, the work started out as gutter clearing, but escalated to bricks and fascias being replaced. Thousands of pounds in cash were paid in both instances.

These guys are professional criminals who bully and coerce victims into paying money for work that doesn’t need doing and is massively overpriced.

As the weather changes and the trees shed their leaves, rogue traders will appear wanting to clear gutters.

The price will start out cheap and they may say they have worked for your neighbours. They will then find lots of ‘problems’ and the job quickly escalates until huge amounts of cash are being demanded.

Trading Standards advice is “NEVER TO DO BUSINESS ON THE DOORSTEP”
