Police are investigating after armed men broke into a home in the Sale area of Trafford and assaulted a women.
Three masked men broke into her home on Claremont Road in Sale at around 1.20am on Nov 18.
The men went upstairs and threatened a woman living at the address with a machete and a taser, after demanding money, the men punched the women in the face twice and tasered her.
They made off in the 30-year-old victim’s car having stolen the keys from inside.
Detective Inspector Simon Akker of GMP’s Trafford Borough said: “This was a terrifying attack which left the women utterly traumatized.
“Fortunately she has not suffered any serious injuries.
“I am appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who believes they have any information about this crime, to please get in touch.”
