Dominos Pizza which has just opened a new store in Altrincham have issued a warning to customers to change their password after they found some suspicious activities on some customers accounts.

Many websites are under attack on a daily basis by criminals who are really after only two things, your money and your personal details which they can then use to clone you.
The internet is an amazing place, full of information, lot’s of shopping, saving money along the way, sadly there are people wanting to take all your money, big names on the high street are winning but only just, and sometimes one or two falls victim.
Yahoo has just announced over one billion email accounts were hacked in 2013 and another one this year when 500m accounts were hacked into, other high profile names have also been attacked in the past.
A spokesman for Domino’s said: “We have recently contacted all our customers with a My Domino’s account advising them to change their password.
“We decided to take this proactive, precautionary action in light of the growing number of websites that have recently been compromised by breaches in their cyber security.
“In many cases, this has resulted in a user’s email address and password being obtained from one website, and then used to access another.
“This is because people often use the same login details across multiple online accounts.
“Unfortunately this recently happened to a small handful of our customers, after some suspicious activity was discovered on their Domino’s accounts.
“We took immediate action to secure the affected customer accounts by changing the password with a strengthened alternative, and notified each customer within 24 hours via email and a follow-up telephone call.
“To be absolutely clear, we have no evidence to suggest there has been a breach of Domino’s systems and whilst it’s unlikely that all our customers have been impacted, we decided to take these precautionary steps as a security conscious and responsible retailer.”
Domino’s apologised to its customers and recommended that you contact customer services via the ‘Contact Us’ page on the website which can be found HERE
