Robbers Target An Industrial Site In Trafford Park And Flee With HD TV’s

Police are appealing for information following a number of burglaries at an industrial site in Trafford Park.

Between 4am and 9.15am on December 4, unknown offenders broke into five shipping containers at Maritime Transport Ltd on John Gilbert Way, Trafford Park.

A number of items were stolen including a significant number of 32-inch Luxor televisions from one of the containers.

Enquiries are ongoing with the company’s clients to establish the items that were stolen from the other containers.

Detective Constable Gray Wilton, of GMP’s Trafford Borough, said: “This was a calculated crime where the offenders have specifically targeted the site.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or has been offered goods matching these descriptions, to please get in touch.

“We would also like to hear from people who are aware of anyone storing or selling a large amount of televisions or electrical items.”
