Trafford Lib Dems Reveal Candidates For The 2018 Local Elections

The Trafford Liberal Democrats Group reveal to us a list of candidates for the 2018 local elections, a completed list will appear on this website in early 2017.

With austerity biting hard, and all the other problems caused by it, these elections are going to be another chance before the main general elections in 2020 to have your say.

Here then is some of the candidates that will be fighting hard for Trafford residents:

• Meena Minnis – BROOKLANDS (Trafford)
• Shaun Ennis – DAVYHULME WEST
• Simon Lepori – HALE CENTRAL
• William Jones – TIMPERLEY
• Cllr Tony Fishwick – VILLAGE

We will cover all the political parties in the coming months in the build up to the local elections, we are aware that Karina Carter who is a Bucklow St Martins councillor serving Partington, Carrington and some of Sale West will be standing down making way for another councillor at the local elections.

At this time no one knows what has happened with Matthew Sephton in the Altrincham ward, if he has indeed left the Tories then a by-election will have to take place next year sometime, this will be an interesting seat with the Greens hot on the heels of the Tories could well win this time around.
