It is indeed a dream holiday location for many people and has brought some fond and unforgettable memories to the many people who has visited the island, for the passengers waiting to come back to Manchester yesterday evening it turned out to be a nightmare.

The flight from Bridgetown Grantley Adams Airport was due out at 8.40pm local time on Jan 2, it is believed the captain of the flight had taken ill and all passengers were taken back to the airport and kept in accommodation which was clearly unacceptable.
One passenger said: “so many people were arguing today’s flight should be interesting we got dropped at a 4 star hotel, to be told there was a mistake they have no room & we were then shipped to their sister hotel.
“it’s grim Very grim Had no food or water since lunch yesterday. Just got up at 5am to check if Virgin Atlantic Airways are coming back to get us But they haven’t been in touch Virgin have been the worst in this situation…. no communication, no clear instructions, no care It’s been a living nightmare.”
Virgin Atlantic confirmed that the delayed flight will depart Bridgetown Grantley Adams Airport at 10 am local time today Jan 3.
