A short film about Kayleigh Haywood has been released by Leicestershire Police showing the dangers of online grooming, it is hard-hitting and some people may find it upsetting.

The film is about a young girl who was secretly groomed online and met a man who she had been talking with, he then got her drunk before having sex with her.

In the film her nightmare was not over, and sadly she was found dead in woods, Kayleigh Haywood aged just fifteen was murdered in Ibstock Leicestershire.

A post-mortem examination conducted on Kayleigh’s body identified extensive blunt force injuries to her neck and head, as well as underlying fracturing of facial bones.

Three men were sent to prison for killing Kayleigh, the video shows you what had happened in a very detailed way, it is hoped that mothers and their teenage daughters can watch this and understand why it is so dangerous to be contacting people for dates and other things like this online since you can never tell who is behind that screen!.
