B&Q in Broadheath shut its doors last year after many years serving the public, it was thought that “Jump Xtreme” was to take over, but the company decided it was not going ahead with the plans.

The old B&Q will now be a gym and the new owners have a gigantic space in which to put in all the equipment having two units, this will be one if not the biggest gym in Trafford.

The Gym Group will be opening its doors in June this year, it will be very welcome in Altrincham and offers excellent value and no membership fees, the gym will be open 24/7.

The new gym will have all the latest fitness equipment installed which includes the following:

  • Virtual Bikes
  • Excercise Bikes
  • Steppers
  • Running Machines
  • Cross Trainers
  • Rowing Machines
  • Strength Training Machines

It is expected also the new gym will have an area for free weights and will have changing rooms and shower units.
