An attempted robbery at Tesco Express on Manor Avenue in Sale occurred at around 3am on Jan 21.
The store which has just had a forecourt refurbishment which cost thousands of pounds had its front shutters damaged which set of the alarm.
The offenders did not gain entry into the store.
