Public Warned To Close Windows As United Utilities Plant In Urmston Starts Smelling Much Worse Than Normal

Police are urging the public to keep windows locked as a very bad smell is coming from the United Utilities plant At Davyhulme.

The smell is said to be far worse than normal and although this has not been declared an emergency you are advised to follow police advice until their is an update.

United Utilities and Greater Manchester Fire And Rescue Service are aware of the situation and are currently trying to identify what is causing the pong.
