Walton Park In Sale Gets Much Needed Improvements

Walton Park in Sale which was awarded a green flag last year has seen some big improvements in the past few months.

A local Tory councillor contacted news4trafford and told us about the improvements for disabled people, which has almost been completed, the lowering of a path opposite the scouts hut has also helped cyclists.

The toilets are currently having a refurbishment which will include better access for disabled people.

Improvements to the children’s playground are now underway, with a new shock absorbing floor being fitted, we are also told some modifications are being done in the bowling green hut.

The park has a great reputation as being one of the best family parks in Trafford, that boasts a miniature railway, a big field where football is played, a tennis and basketball court and two bowling greens.

This year Walton Park will be well used as ever,as the weather becomes warmer, with many events put on through the year, Walton Park is the place to be!
