Warning Issued As Tree Blocks A Well Used Canal Path In Sale

A tree is blocking off a well used canal path in Sale today Feb 15 and we are advising users to take extra care until the situation is sorted out.

We spoke to a man who just happened to be passing on his barge, and he told me he will alert the people who can get this sorted out as soon as he can, the location of the tree is near to the Walton Road entrance, or bout 400m from Walton Park.

This has the potential to cause some serious issues and again we advise cyclists, runners and walkers to take extra care when approaching the fallen tree.

We have also contacted Trafford Council about the situation.
