Mystery As Horse Stables Are Removed Near Sale

Horse stables close to Cherry Lane in Sale have been their for a very long time have suddenly vanished, leaving chairs and plants as a reminder of what was there.

It is currently unknown as to why the owners of the stables decided to move although suggestion is United Utilities who own the land forced them to move.

The land now is vacant and the issue now will be who cuts back the brambles, the growth of the grass is already becoming an issue and then the path from Cherry Lane that cuts through it to Woodcote Road will be blocked.

It is sad to see these stables and the horses go, many people including children used to love the horses and fed them carrots and other things horses like to eat.

The stables also had CCTV which helped catch some of the off road bikers who continue to use the path leading to Cherry Lane as a race track.
