Man charged after sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl

A man has been charged with the sexual assault of a 4-year-old girl and remains in custody overnight.

Conrad Asa Pritchard aged 22 from  Salford has been charged with sexual assault and remains in police custody.

He is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on June 28.

Shortly after 4.30am on June 26, police were called to reports of a disturbance on Littleton Road, Salford.

Officers attended and arrested a 21-year-old man at an address nearby.

The girl and her family are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.
