Two vehicles collided with each other on a very dangerous Carrington Lane this morning June 29.
The crash occurred just before 8am between a white van and a silver Vauxhall Astra, emergency services rushed to the scene, an air ambulance was called to take an injured man to hospital with a head injury, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police closed the road for a while which had a bad knock on effect for all the other roads in the area with long queues forming, this has now been lifted.
Carrington Lane has seen many collisions, and we have since asked the council if anything can be done to reduce the problems, although of course they cannot do anything about the driving standards which have fallen over the years.
