Two vulnerable elderly women were victims of pick pocketing in Sale Town Centre yesterday morning

 

The ladies had been to ATM’s at separate times during the morning of July 20 between 11am and midday before going on to do some shopping.

Police say it is likely that the victims were observed whilst entering their PIN numbers at the ATM’s.

Sadly a gigantic amount of cash was taken of the elderly women and esquires are on going.

Police warn the public to be extra vigilant when going shopping and using ATM’s, always look around you, and if someone is too close, stop what you are doing and go inside the branch or try another machine, cover the pin with your other hand if you need to use an ATM.
