A man aged 26 has been charged after a fatal collision in Timperley

Gurparthab Ajay Singh of Hall Lane in Wythenshawe has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road traffic collision, and failing to report a road traffic collision.

Singh remains in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Aug 29.

The collision involved 24-year-old Vicky Myers from Flixton who was riding her bike just before 8am on Aug 27 which was on Stockport Road in Timperley.

Emergency services attended and took her to hospital, sadly she passed away.
