Armed robbery at an Aldi store in Sale

We got reports of a high level of police activity at the Aldi store on School Road, at the time which was around 9pm, staff were seen turning away customers saying “We are sorry we are closed for the night as their has been an incident”

Police are now saying that an armed robbery took place at around 8pm on November 11, where two masked men came into the store, one-armed with a knife and the other with what looked like a gun inside a black bag.

Both men fled the scene with a quantity of cash.
