We reported to Trafford Council a bad situation developing on Oldwell Walk near Firsway in Sale, we saw a lot of standing water, and this had increased a week later and water could be seen going down the walkway.

It was then reported to a councillor who then told us that United Utilities was aware, and are now fixing the leak.

For them to do this work, they have had to turn of the water in that area, it is thought that work will be completed very soon.

We are now told that the water is back on, but more work is needed to be done.
