Snow in Trafford will lead to icy conditions overnight and during the morning rush hour

Snow was a feature for most of today, looking towards Dunham from Sinderland Lane it looked like a winter wonderland, an image we are glad to share with you.

The snow did not stick, which for some was a good thing, however as the temperature dips overnight to below freezing, ice becomes an issue.

All the major roads have been gritted in Trafford, however all other roads and pavements will have not been treated and so will become icy, this will also be the case during the morning rush hour, so take it easy out there!

The weather is on the change though as winds come in from the atlantic which is slightly warmer, this though will bring with it a fair bit of rain and the possibility of some thunder mixed in during the week, the MET office have said that Tuesday will be a dry and sunny day however night time temperatures will dip well below freezing.
