Do you like mud? check out Woodheys Park in Sale

Residents are reporting to us about the state of a much loved park in Sale, after we inspected Woodheys Park, every route was full of mud, even the tiny paths.

A security man who shuts the gates confirmed how bad it was, more so around the park area, he said he will bring straps to his wellington boots as the mud was so deep, his feet was coming out of the boots.

We asked a Councillor Amy Whyte if she could sort out the water and mud issues coming of the trail at the back of the park and provide a path that would join up with the existing path this was during the summer last year!  it seems she could not get anything done.

It is a dreadful situation and people are increasingly becoming angry that nothing is done with this park, so that people can enjoy it during winter, either walking their dogs or for kids to play in the playground without coming back home with mud everywhere.
