Trafford residents beware of door to door salesmen offering poor quality mattresses

Trafford Trading Standards have recently had reports of men travelling around the area in a van offering discounted mattresses for sale.

They have most recently been reported in Flixton, but are believed to have operating in several locations across the North West. Door to door mattress sellers usually offer cheap, low quality mattresses, either falsely claiming that they are big brand names and have been heavily discounted.

By purchasing one from them you are likely to be paying over the odds for a poor product which might not meet UK fire safety standards.
