Trafford veterans who work with ex-servicemen and women to adjust back into civilian life again, the aim is to make this as smooth as possible where they can socialise and join in on groups.
As many people are into football, which is a great way to meet new people, and get fit at the same time, walking football takes out the aggressive side and adds nothing but fun, it really is a great laugh, however it still can be very competitive.
Trafford veterans have linked up with Altrincham FC in the community to offer training sessions which will be held at the Broomwood Community Centre on Mainwood Road in Timperley, this is for anyone aged 18 or over and the first of these sessions will be on March 13th at 7.30pm.
Eight people are needed to make up a team and the cost of these sessions is just £2.
