Three Royal Navy Merlin helicopters were seen hovering over Partington this afternoon and lots of pictures was seen on social media however we got footage of the three helicopters shown below.

Often you will see military helicopters that land at City Airport in Salford aka Barton Aerodrome however we have never seen three in one go like this before.

They use the airfield for refuelling.
