A man was robbed £1000 after buying TV’s from the back of a van at a retail park in Trafford.
The male victim agreed to buy two televisions from the van and handed over £1000, the offenders then followed the man to his home address, they then asked the man for the TV’s back as a colleague had already sold the TV’s, the man asks for his money back but the offenders refused.
The offenders told the man not to worry and two more TV’s will be delivered the next day.
The man gives back both TV’s and the offenders leave, as expected no TV’s were delivered the next day, however the man had many phone calls that same day asking him he would need to pay them £4000 to release the TV’s from a container in Holyhead.
He refuses to pay this amount, the caller then reduced the amount to £1000, the man still refuses to pay it and called the police.
