Storm Freya is set to hit the UK on Sunday and overnight on Monday bringing with it around 80mph winds.

Forecasters suggest the SW and western Wales will be hit the hardest, then the winds move further North, Manchester will see strong winds during Sunday night although it is expected to be less of an issue.

The rain will be problematic and could causse localised flooding in places.

We suggest if you are going out this weekend to go out on Saturday as the weather will be fairly good for the best part of the day, during early evening though we will start to see the rain fall.

Weather professionals suggest winds of around 60 to 80mph are expected.
