Emirates A380 landing fault causes chaos at Manchester Airport

An Emirates A380 aircraft flight EK21 rom Dubai to Manchester caused chaos this morning after experiencing a technical fault on landing.

 

The aircraft landed just after 7am on Aug 27th.

All passengers and crew aboard the flight was safe, they though had to endure extra time on the plane as the super jumbo could not move an inch.

Manchester Airport confirmed operations were delayed due to the A380 being stuck on the runway where it managed to come to a stop.

The aircraft was checked over by emergency services then was towed to the terminal where the passengers and crew left in the normal way.

It is incredibly rare for an aircraft to suffer a fault like this on landing, the aircraft will be checked by engineers and expect it to be in the air again soon.
