Fly tipping is a disgrace more so when a public tip is just around the corner, often the most dumped stuff is bags of rubbish but not always!

The hotspots in the south and west of Trafford is only minutes from a public tip, on Woodcote Road that goes up a hill and over a bridge from Sinderland Lane to the right handside going North bound is woodland, often during the winter months this is an area where some of the biggest fly tips are seen in Trafford.

In recent times we reported back to the council about a fly tip on top of the bridge, we saw something under a plastic cover although not that visible was not normal rubbish, a couple of days later this thing was gone leaving around 10 bags full of rubbish which we can report have all been picked up.

Today November 13 we saw what looked like a huge teddy bear, and other things that have been dumped in woodland on Woodcote Road which we believe is either in Broadheath or Dunham Massey, on our return to get a photo we can tell you the item was no teddy bear, it looks like something covering a bag with a hi-vis top,

On Covershaw Lane we saw a bit of furniture dumped near Partington and with it around 6 full bags of rubbish.

All fly tipping and some very dangerous looking potholes on Sinderland Lane and on Moss Lane in Partington are reported to Trafford Council so Trafford is cleaner and safer, we urge residents though to sign up to report things yourself on the my.trafford website.

Reporting stuff this way gets things done quicker and all reports are acted upon although some things can take a couple of weeks which is not acceptable, however we can point our fingers at the last administration for signing us up to a two and a half year long contract with Amey!
