Police appeal for information after teenage boy was seriously injured on Edge Lane in Stretford

Police are appealing for information after a teenage boy was seriously injured in a collision in Stretford.

At around 7pm on 22/01/22 the 14-year-old boy was crossing Edge Lane near to the junction with Cromwell Road, when he was involved in a collision with a white Mercedes car.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene however decided to leave a short time later before police arrived.

Police are appealing for anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage from the area at the time to contact them via roads.policing@gmp.police.uk quoting 2595 22/02/22.
