Police have issued further information about a planned Car Cruise this weekend (16/07/2022) in Trafford Park
B&Q have now confirmed that this event cannot take place on their land and that if permission had been given this had been done in error by a junior member of staff.
The car park is likely to be closed. We have spoken with the event organiser in an attempt collaborate should permission have been granted however; the event is not going ahead.
Whilst there isn’t a dispersal order currently in place, a public spaced protection order is in parts of nearby Trafford Park with the conditions outlined below:
-Excessive Revving of the engine.
-Driving in Convoy.
-Racing.
-Performing Stunts.
-Excessive Noise.
-Danger or risk of injury to road users.
Police are asking people not to attend on Saturday as the event will not be taking place.
