The top part of a 747-400 aircraft made its way this morning from Cotswolds Airport to a hanger at City Airport Manchester (Barton Airport)
For many who love the 747 aircraft or as its known ‘The Queen of the Skies’ it will be a sad time seeing just the top half of it when the aircraft itself was in perfect condition and could have been flying around the world.
The firm who bought it ‘Doors2manual’ will be using the top deck half of the once British Airways aircraft as a venue for weddings and conferences, the 747 deck itself will also be used as a flight simulator which should wipe away any tears from those that want it to be in the sky.
