Arriva buses could be back on the roads again as drivers vote on new pay offer

Arriva buses could be back on the roads again after the firm gave drivers a better offer which will now go to a vote which will be held either Monday or Tuesday.

If the new offer is approved all Arriva buses will be back on the roads again on Wednesday.

The near month long strike has caused transportation problems for many people around the North West, we understand political people have now started to join in trying to get the drivers back to work.

Arriva initially gave drivers an 8.5% increase in wages, however this was turned down and so with this new improved pay offer it is hoped drivers will accept it and the green buses will be seen again on our roads.
